All you need is love.

As the famous Beatles put it, "All you need is Love... Love... Love... Love is all you need"
In times of significant change where we are now separated from each other more than ever due to isolation and removal from our day to the day social life, we believe one thing remains critical. LOVE. Love is all you need. 2020 was a wake up year that shook us to our cores, reminding us of what really matters, our health, happiness and each other. Our connection and our heartfelt love for each other. As the global pandemic continues to sweep the planet, we believe one thing is critical.
Love for each other, the planet and all living sentient beings, including the voiceless because we share the same love as animals. We do this by not supporting a ruthless and rather revolting industry that is so far removed from the natural world and Mother Nature itself. That we feel it is ok to artificially inseminate a cow and within less than 36 hours of giving birth, steal her baby despite her cries and blatant suffering, the same heartache and cries of which any other mother on the planet would express. We then brutally exploit her baby and take her milk, the milk that was intended for her offspring, her baby so her baby could grow so we can put it in our coffee or on our cereal when there are so many healthy dairy free alternatives that are not only better for our health but also the planet.
In the name of love, under natural conditions, calves stay with their mother until weaning at 8 to 11 months of life. After that, the mother cow will continue to show strong affiliative behaviour with her offspring and preferentially chooses them for grooming and as grazing partners for at least 4 to 5 years. The natural bond between mother and her calf is broken, and more often than not, the calf is sent to the slaughterhouse whilst the lactating cow is used and abused for her milk.
If we come from a place of love and compassion as our guiding principles, we can not turn a blind eye to this unnecessary and blatantly brutal suffering. It is time for a change. Great change. It is time for love to lead the way to ensure that all sentient beings and the natural environment are protected. We need to support each other and help each other to grow. Rather than targeting the major dairy farms and pointing the blame for the cruel suffering abuse these cows have endured for capital gain since millennia, we need to show compassion and the world that we can lead the way with a better way of living.
Why can't Australia be the number one in environmental practices, plant based nutrition, health and the most proactive in addressing issues which plague us on some level and in some way. When we work together as one, and we take the time to educate and forgive for the past, when we work towards love, as love is after all what makes us human.
All you need is love. Love is all you need.
